Last night, Romeo Oriogun was awarded this year’s NLNG Nigeria Prize for Literature for his poetry book, Nomad

Romeo Oriogun’s book explores a variety of themes including immigration, exile, history, politics, etc. 

The three-man shortlist had also included Su’eddie Agershi Verma, for his book Memory and the Call of Waters; and Saddiq Dzukoggi, for his book, Your Crib, My Qibla
